first base and corner outfield.
I think he even has played some third base, uh, as well, but I think with Worcester's roster, that would be less of a need.
Um, he had a minor shoulder injury at the end of last season.
So some of the early parts of spring training, he was rehabbing that.
So, uh, really just made sure he, he spent a lot of his focus, uh, on the backfields and in the, um, in the minor league side, make sure he's getting his at-bats, making sure he's working on all the things that he needed to do to play every day once the blister broke.
So, um,
really is more about repetition and making sure he was getting the time in the field and the time at bat that he needed.
As we know, sometimes we send guys over the big week side, they may or may not play.
So just for him with Worcester breaking early, we wanted to make sure that he was getting the reps and building up his workload.
So once the season started, he'd be available to go.
There are a few things.
To me, the biggest thing is just the ability to impact the baseball consistently.
Strong defender, good bat to ball, focusing on the swing decisions so we can really swing at the right pitches so we can drive the right pitches.
We saw a little bit in the spring.
We saw it in the Futures game.
We saw it in the backfield.
Just pulling the ball hard in the air for impact and extra bases I think is really important.
That's the chance for him to be
um, not only a good player, but a, but a great player.
So, you know, he spent a little bit of time in double a last year.
