And I understand where they're coming from.

I understand that they might not.

It's not their job.

It's not people who are being directly affected by policies like this to be forgiving towards people who could have seen this coming.

You know, it was an open book test.

But for me, as a straight white male who still lives in a small town, you know, I'll take that burden.

I'll give these people grace where it's either undeserved or, you know, like other people don't want to.

And I'll say like when they start asking questions, I'll say, hey, I'll have that conversation with you.

You know, like I'll see where you're coming from and stuff like that.

And maybe we can come to a better conclusion.

So that way politics looks different when we move forward.

And, you know, I don't think I don't think we're as far apart as everybody wants to believe, especially in small towns like this, because I mean.

At first, yeah, I do think we were.

I think that people were like, yeah, if you're a liberal, you're just anti-American, which is bullshit.

But I think the way we've seen this administration act and the forthcoming that we've had, even in small towns and in country music now...

with coming out and saying, Hey, I'm a liberal and I'm proud to be one.

You know what I'm saying?

Like, I think that hungry kids should be fed.

Like, don't you, you know what I'm saying?

Like that shit, that stuff right there is what can change the narrative.
