And I think that right now at this moment, humanity is begging for art and history will be told and it will be told through art.
So that's what I do.

I mean, I've lost friends that...
I've had since I was a toddler, you know, or not a toddler, but, you know, seven, eight years old.
And it hurts.
But I do think that we come out of this at some point, you know, and I think those relationships can be mended.
But one thing, you know, I always hear like, oh, you can't be you can't be a liberal redneck or something like that, which is just inherently false.
I mean, my grandfather was from a town smaller than I live in.
And he worked for General Motors in the union for 30 years and lived in a town of 1500 people and voted blue his whole life.
I mean, he was a union man.
And the Democrats used to represent the blue collar community.
And I think that's something that we've been seeing lacking in the Democratic Party for the last, I don't know, 10, 15 years ish.
And we just kind of moved away from it.
And I think that's where like part of me wants to bring it back.
And, you know, I know I could do that through country music because I live in a town where they live, you know, and and and from where they're from and talk like they talk and look like how they look like, you know.
So I knew if they were going to listen to the message, it was going to be from, you know, coming from someone who looks like me.
And I think that's what's important to show through my music.
You know, I said I did say in that interview, I'm not trying to be the Toby Keith of the left.
