I just announced the stage adaptation of Disney's Polly based upon the 1988 film that Keisha Napoleon starred in when she was a freshman.

As a little girl, it starred Keisha Naipoleum and Phylicia Rashad.

It was directed and choreographed by Debbie Allen.

Debbie Allen is returning to direct and choreograph the stage adaptation for the full musical.

Lena Waithe and Michael Benjamin Washington are writing the book.

Syeda Garrett and Uriah Kwame are doing the music.

And so I just announced that yesterday.
