Keeping an open mind, I mean, I think it's also tough to assess when the Raiders roster was so barren of talent and experience in a lot of places.
Some of the ones that I like, I think the O-line coach pairing is really good with James Campin as the old grizzled veteran of it.
And then you'll have Jari Evans in there to teach the finer points and fundamentals from a recent player point of view and a Hall of Fame caliber player at that.
And I like Domita Peko on the defensive line.
You know, that's going to be a huge โ
Huge task for anybody in that role to bring along guys like Derek Harmon and Y.A.
Black and even maybe helping Keanu Benton take that next step this year.
And I think even more so than the philosophy perspective, it's going to be having the right ideas for designing the offense to fit the players around it.
I mean, when you bounce around to as many teams as he has, although he kind of settled into a nice little foothold with Minnesota and they thought enough of him to give him that nice little elevated bump in title, pass game coordinator.
So I think that tells you that Kevin O'Connell,
really appreciated his input.
And, you know, it's always a collaborative process for the best coaching staffs, I think.
I mean, how much time did we spend and ink did we spend on Sean McVay and Nate Sheilhaus and that relationship and how those guys bounced ideas off of each other?
So I think a similar thing was going on there in Minnesota with
KOC and Angelico.
He's just not as young of a hotshot name as Nate Schielhaus.
So that's what I think is a good thing about that.
Mike McCarthy is going to set the agenda.
He's going to bring the philosophy.
But you'll have Angelico being the guy that that side of the ball kind of answers to under him.
