I I had good luck with neighbors my entire life until I moved in with Christy.
And we had neighbor the upstairs downstairs dynamic like you guys were talking about.
So my my thing combines the upstairs downstairs dynamic with what you were saying, which is how these fucking people are why are they always around?
Why how are they always home?
So our upstairs, we're in the downstairs unit, four, four, four uh unit complex, very small.
Uh upstairs neighbors were extremely shady.
It was a couple, a young gish couple, our age, maybe a little older, uh, who had one kid, he was like six or seven, and they were extremely shady.
He was always on the phone, and you know how they have those um staircases that just echo everything.
It amplifies everything.
He was always on the phone making shades.
Shady deals, like in the stairwell?
In the stairway.
No, but like you could hear because it would echo through the stairwell.
And one day, the cops came and we could hear the whole thing because they had this conversation in the stairwell.
Right.
The cops came to his door, their door, and talked to them.
They're like, Are you so-and-so?
