Afternoon.
He's 40 years old, you know, in LA.
Doesn't have to get traded.
Um, they called and said, Hey, Tampa's interested in trading for you.
Uh, and they said, We're gonna get a maybe a second round pick.
So um, obviously they picked him up.
Uh Corey said, Yeah, I'd love to go back to Tampa.
You know, even though LA has a chance to make the playoffs, he decides to come here.
Um, you know, at the end of the day, he gets in a flight from uh he gets in a
an airplane flight on Friday evening, Friday late afternoon, it gets late for two hours.
Uh gets into Toronto at four o'clock in the morning from LA, flying all night.
Damn.
Gets in at four in the morning, gets to the hotel at 6, 6 a.m.
Game that night, goes to sleep for three and a half hours, goes to the morning, skate for 10, 10:30, and skates, goes back to the hotel, meets the team, has a has a pregame meal, plays the game that night, scores a goal, and then the next night has a goal and a and uh has a goal in a five.
Against Buffalo, but like not many guys would do that, guys.

That's a dedication for a 40-year-old guy who's probably gonna be in the Hall of Fame one day, won Olympic gold medal, world junior gold medal.
