Some of the integrity issues of recent times have probably raised an eyebrow or two.
Um, having said that, I think the most difficult thing in football clubs now is is managing integrity matters.
The AFL have got over, I think, forty staff now in in integrity areas, you know, which includes legal, it includes, you know, TPP and soft cap, it includes vilification, sexual discrimination, all of those things, illicit drug policies and and so um th there's there's a reason for that.
Um and uh you know it's it's it's unfortunate that we have to deal with so many integrity issues.
Hopefully over time they will become uh less and less and less.
But at this stage it's you know, it's it's there's plenty of them, there's so many of them.
And there's so many channels now of um inquiring if that's the right word or making a complaint.
Um and the the uh the digital uh comms and mobiles, etcetera, don't don't help in terms of, you know, the number of cases that we're seeing.
They'll they'll they'll increase.
And so it becomes uh it becomes really important, I think, um, that we continue to uh appoint the right people in footy.
uh and train them up, including players, around being good citizens.
I don't necessarily think they have to be role models, but I think uh there's an expe expectation they are good citizens, with good values.
And so uh that whole uh area of uh
You know, hiring well, uh, then managing little is pretty important.
Okay.
I I think we need to spend more time on that, um, particularly with our staff.
Um with players there's a you know, we go through a hell of a lot of interviews and and the filtering uh before sides pick players.
Um I think we can improve the uh the assessment and employability of uh employment of of uh other staff.
So, you know, that's that's that's one of the the issues for me in terms of
