That's how the Brewers have found success for the last decade here is they trade guys before they're supposed to be traded.
I was having a conversation with somebody on our team today with the Yankees in town here in Milwaukee for the weekend about who the next Brewer that's going to be a Yankee is and we kind of giggled and said,
It's going to be second baseman Bryce Terang when he signs for $300 million in free agency three years from now.
But somebody said to me, they'll probably trade Bryce Terang before he ever gets to free agency because that's how they operate.
So I think there's just like an understanding that that's what the Brewers are going to do.
And you have to live with the consequences if some of the guys that you get in return get injured.
There's nothing you can do to control that.
Is Giannis going to get traded in the next three weeks?
I've been pounding that drum for a while.
Quite frankly, this has gone on longer than I thought it would.
And it was particularly telling the Bucs.
Hired Taylor Jenkins earlier this week as their next head coach and introduced him as their next head coach in downtown Milwaukee on Wednesday.
And obviously the question was asked of was Giannis included in these conversations?
And do you think you'll be coaching Giannis this year?
Any way you could phrase that question for the new head coach?
And Jimmy Haslam, who obviously has an infamous history with the Cleveland Browns and their general manager, John Horst and Taylor Jenkins, all avoided that question like the plague.
