One of the other questions was how I felt about DEI.

And I told him that, listen, I believe in diversity because of the reasons I said earlier.

We need to have a diverse workforce that reflects the people we serve.

He asked me if the FBI employees who are responsible for storming Mar-a-Lago should be held accountable.

And I said, well, hold on.

Like, I wasn't a part of that investigation.

However...

There has been no misconduct or impropriety or corruption that I've been made aware of.

There are processes to investigate that.

And if those processes have already taken place or if there's allegations that require initiating those processes, then that's where I lie.

But they conducted those warrants based off of a properly predicated, legally submitted and sworn out court order from a judge.

So no.

Or he reflected that he understood I couldn't tell him who I voted for.

So he asked when I started supporting the president and didn't answer that question.

And he's like, he seemed impatient.

And he said that, OK, I understand you can't talk about that.

Just tell me if you voted for a Democrat in the last five elections.

And then I concluded the conversation after that and hung up.

I don't know from experience if that is or was a litmus test to achieve leadership positions within the FBI, from within the FBI.

I really hope it's not.
