We're talking with Christy Davis, one of the candidates, the Democratic candidates for U.S.

Senate from Kansas.

She'll be on the primary ballot on August 4th, along with 10 other Democrats.

And Christy, I want to ask you about that.

What do you think sets you apart from this large field of other Democrats?

The decision before voters in August is not about Roger Marshall.

It's about which one of you is the right one to face him.

And yet, is it the same kind of experience?

I mean, the experience you've had at sort of an administrative role at a state level, is that the same as kind of the rough and tumble politics of the U.S.

Senate of being able to sort of take a stand, especially if the Democrats are in the minority?

I mean, what is the skill set that transfers there?

You are, oh, no, I appreciate that.

So, I mean, you've been running now for almost a year, maybe a little over a year.
