We've got to do better oversight because our governor and other elected officials have said that Texas is

ban Sharia law.

The problem is we haven't.

All we did was tweak one or two things in the family code.

Well, if that's what we're saying is a ban on Sharia law, it's not.

But if it is, why is it only in the family code?

Let's hold hearings and put those prohibitions on the way these judicial courts that are making decisions based on foreign law, which why is that happening in Texas?

We should apply that prohibition to all of the Texas code.

And then here's another, a lot of your viewers are aware of this epic city, this big Sharia compound that's being built here in North Texas.

We did pass a law to ban Epic City.

Are you ready for the problem with the law to ban Epic City that everyone down here in Austin talks about?

We exempted Epic City from the law that's supposed to ban Sharia compounds like Epic City.

So we've got a lot more work to do because the people of Texas, they don't want rhetoric.

They're sick of rhetoric.

They're sick of gaslighting.

They want results.

And then as to these terrorist designations, let's have a special session.

Bring us back right now.

Let's pass the bills that I'm talking about.

Let's pass the new legislation based on the oversight hearings that we have to have.
