And so he had a really good feeling for that.

Um he was always trying to learn.

Um, even from me, you know, coming from that New England system, he would ask me about pass protections and and and you know, route concepts and things like that.

And so it's not surprising to me that he's now a head coach down there at Appalachian State.

And um it was just it for me and h and him we had a really good connection and it showed on the field.

Yeah, I mean, look, he's he's truly entertaining and he's definitely had s a lot of growth.

I think the best thing that ever happened to Caleb Williams is that Ben Johnson was hired to be the head coach.

Um he's gonna be there to to make sure he pushes them every day to get better.

And I think the one thing with all the razzle dazzle, he's he's done a good job of protecting the football.

Uh so I'd love to just see him to continue to develop that uh the growth as a quarterback and and uh you know, you'd like to see the completion percentage go up, but he's definitely one of the most electric players in the league and I think having Ben Johnson in his corner, teaching him how to play the game, um

has been incredible and man he he definitely gave us some highlights last year to watch.

I mean, I don't care if you're a Bears fan or not.

the touchdown against the Packers where he drifts back to the fifty and throws it.

I mean, that was incredible and so

If he can mix in a little bit more of playing within the system, um, I think that gets his completion percentage up and then relying on the athleticism, you know, when when the initial read isn't there, that's gotta be the next progression for him.

Yeah, I mean there's no throw that he cannot make.

I mean he he has that Mahomes uh type ability.

I think even when you watch him at US C coming out, you're like, this is the closest thing to Mahomes that anyone's really seen.

But the one thing about the NFL game is is sometimes they're gonna try to take that away, right?

They're gonna try to make you read coverage and then cage rush you and the one thing he's got going for him is he's way faster than I ever thought he could be and he gets out on the edge and they can't really catch him.
