But the message to the American people, I think, was profound.
And he was showing you what was at stake if we don't continue to win.
And I thought the president did a brilliant job.
I thought the one big takeaway I had was partly, you know, the Iran stuff that we talked about earlier with Rickards.
It does look like we're on path to go to war in Iran today.
But I think the president laid it out in such a way as to tell the American people, I'm doing this for us.
This is not for Israel.
This is not for anybody else in the Middle East.
This is for the United States.
We have to make sure the United States is defended against these people in Iran who would seek to destroy us.

It's about making sure the American people are defended against any enemy who would seek to destroy us.
And given the capabilities of Iran today,
They have ballistic missiles that are capable if you launch them from a ship against the United States.
They have that capacity already today.
And if they can combine that with a nuclear warhead, then you could see Iran in very short order, not 2035 as some people mentioned, but in very short order having the capacity to destroy the United States.
And so I thought that was an important feature of the speech too.
