Um as for uh the the other piece to put together here is that Chicago power play uh remember was in dire straits podcast-host

Uh they didn't have a five they didn't know who the fifth person ought to be. podcast-host

They couldn't figure out how to complete their unit. podcast-host

And I think that hurt uh everyone's production there, including Bedard. podcast-host

Uh and then uh on the back end he was at half that power play point pace pacing podcast-host

for just 17 power play points in a full season based on the rate at which he was producing with the man advantage. podcast-host

So I I expect Chicago's power play to do better next season. podcast-host

I expect them to have uh readier personnel, uh maybe more mature just better quality and also maybe a a little more maturity for the key players on the unit. podcast-host

And uh that together, you know, I I think I'm ready podcast-host

to still aim aim high with Bedard. podcast-host

Uh I think his first half was probably a a little too hot for him to be able to keep up given that, you know, I mentioned his shooting percentage was sixteen percent. podcast-host
