It's because he shot forty-six percent uh on the power play in the first half.

He picked up six power play goals.

He actually still picked up five power play goals in the second half, shooting twenty-two percent uh and shooting more often.

So it didn't hurt him a whole lot to have that shooting percentage regress because he covered it up with a little more shooting, which um also came from playing uh a few more games in the second half than he did the first.
