At Super League level, I don't think the leading teams have to be elite tactically.

managing games every single week, every single week, where you do, even if, you know, a team's down the bottom of the ladder, they have the athletes, you know, and they have an understanding of the game over here to make every week a battle, regardless of scoreline.

And I don't think that goes on in Super League.

But, you know, again, I'll quickly add to that, that, you know, when the national team gets knocked together for England or Great Britain, whatever format they're playing in, they've come over with a bag of tools because Super League has some disadvantages to the NRL.

Okay, that's widely understood.

Yet with all those disadvantages that Super League has, it gets so close.

It gets so close to being in Australia.

And, you know, I'm talking to Tino after when I first met him at the gym at the Titans Training Center.

You know, I introduced myself, told him how much I'm looking forward to working with him when we got talking about the Ashes series.

And he said, wow, we were rocked a few times.

We were rocked.

We didn't have any answers.

And then tactically, some of the spine players of Australia would manage the game at a level of intensity when the volume of the game gets turned up so high that most of the spine players of Super League don't get to experience that week in, week out.

So to try and beat Australia at that type of game, I think silly.

Yeah.

So we'd have to have a point of difference to how we play.

Well, yeah, there's a few things you've said there, which I agree with mainly, but I've got to say this.

I was talking to a guy just recently about, you know, inside of what we're doing, inside of, you know, I'm knocking together the staff at the moment and we finalise the staff soon.

And I was talking to a guy externally and he said, yeah, well, I think your biggest challenge would be to get the players to operate at an elite level.

I said, what do you mean by elite?
