It's kind of like buying an insurance policy and people feel that the offset losing a little bit of the game is worth it for the protection on the downside.
And it's not a way to generate cash to, you know, pay for your kid's college education or anything else that's really important.
A lot of people, if they've only been in their home for less than 10 years, they've only ever seen the value go up, just like a lot of people have only seen the stock market go up during the time that they've been investing.
And I got to tell you, things go down.
