Jason, you'll hear first up in this clip, and this is some of what he had to say.
And when you grew up here, these fences and walls were always here?
But why do you think this infrastructure, this physical infrastructure is still here?
Well, one of the aspects of the overall development of Myros has been the proposed addition of a train station not far from the primary school.
To advance this, Irish Rail has needed lands owned by Myros United Soccer Club and access had been given previously.
But since this impasse has continued now, the club has taken a decision in recent weeks
to decide not to cooperate with Irish Rail.
Now, Philip Power, chairman of Myross United, told me why.
That's opened a few weeks ago, which is a brilliant asset now, yeah.
What's your position?
What's the story?
You were willing to give a bit of land.
I mean, there's a lot of work that's gone on here for years.
Well, CIE managed the property on behalf of Irish Rail.
They tell me they've issued a licence agreement to the football club.
They say they have a good working relationship with them.
The current construction strategy includes the use of their lands.
They expect to start construction at the end of this year and the station construction isn't related to this 400 metres of tarmac university way, as it's called.
So,
You heard what Philip Power had to say, so we'll see where that one has to go.
