And I think that's what we are also seeing.
So disruptions that came about because of geopolitics or climate, these disruptions tend to be bad for growth and bad for inflation.
And I think we are going to see that over the coming months in the data.
And it's not just oil prices.
It's also the price of a whole range of other commodities that are going to feed through into final products over some months.
Things like climate change and geopolitics tend to be bad for growth, bad for inflation.
Overriding that though, you've also got an environment where we're seeing very, very rapid technological change.
The rise and rise and rise of AI and how that will impact society and the labor market and the economy.
That force is very profoundly deflationary.
So I think what we're in for, if I can sort of sum it up, this is where it sort of translates into economics.
It's a more volatile global economy potentially.
Even though I don't think we're going to see a back to the 1970s inflation episode
because technology is still going to be this very, very powerful driver of inflation lower.
Periodically, you're going to get more significant and more severe upside shocks to inflation, whether it's energy prices, food prices, whatever, whether it's because of geopolitics or because of climate.
And that's a really more challenging environment for the central banks.

How do you keep focused on the medium to longer term path for inflation and
when you're seeing more frequent shocks to the system.
So potentially it could lead to more volatility in interest rate markets, for example.
