It is, of course, like, I mean, you face a wall of silence, basically, like the Omar.
And that's the difficulty when you have it, like, I mean, unless you literally catch them in the act, or, like, I mean, you leave behind forensic evidence behind them, like, I mean, other than that, like, I mean, you take them in and they sit and literally look at a wall.
And that was the difficulty with them.
You know, unless you had good evidence to bring in, you waited until you got as much as you could or ran out of getting anything.
Of course it was.
When I go back over the years, I look at the different murders that we were involved in and you'd bring them right up to the doorstep, practically.
But you just couldn't get across that doorstep with the Director of Public Prosecution because you just, you know, it was felt like, I mean, that you needed extra just to get across and get enough evidence, like, I mean, to get a jury to convict.
When I walked into those that morning, I saw him on the floor with a hole in his head.
And he was lying just under the radiator.
That's how the plumber couldn't see him.
And he was like a child of 15.
He was 20, but he didn't look it.
I mean, I had seen some horrendous scenes and I've been in horrendous situations and things like that and it never affected me.
This one did.
Young Anthony was just left on the ground.
And as I said to you, he was a young man, he was 20 years of age.
But he certainly didn't look 20.
When I saw him, he looked like a young lad of 15, just lying curled on the ground.
And you could see where the bullet had gone through his hand, like where he obviously put his hand up to try and protect himself or shield himself from what was coming.
