He's in power and he wants to make sure he's running the show.
And so when we see him engaged in Saudi Arabia or in Israel or in Iran now, he is trying to make things in the interest of the United States in ways that he believes are good for the American people.
Does he like Saudi Arabia or Israel or does he want to have to go to Iran and fight the war and engage in the economic war we're engaging in now?
He doesn't.
but but he has to because he believes that things have been so screwed up over such a long period of time he's trying to make them right it is obvious that that right western christendom is worth defending

And I echo everything that Frank and Grant and others have said about Sam.
He was, as you say, straight out of central casting, as President Trump would say.
And I think he was a great admirer of President Trump.
and he wanted very much to be supportive of what the president's agenda was.
I first knew Sam from his books, and you were mentioning Beyond Repair, which I have a copy of here, the decline and fall of the CIA.
And I thought it was a remarkable book back then, and I still do.
I opened it again the other day.
And it was really about, and is really about, how the CIA is a very dangerous organization.
