I think, you know, speaking of credibility, it really is telling that you had an entire political party on the right that predicated their identity on attacking the Democrats.

And you can even say justifiably for not being forthright about a very old president in Joe Biden's health status.

And now...

Those same people are conspicuously silent when they have Mitch McConnell, who we don't even know is alive or dead, and yet there's no reporting on it, no updates on it.

The guy is supposed to be a sitting U.S.

senator.

If he is dead, then there should be a special election moving forward.

And I have...

I'm sure everybody's heard the theories as to why if he did pass away, Republicans might not be falling over themselves to fill that seat because it might mean that Thomas Massey could have an in at the US Senate.

So there are a bunch of side quests we can go on for that question.

But

More broadly speaking, I mean, just the sheer hypocrisy of a political party that's beat their chest for four years about Joe Biden being in cognitive decline and the state of his health now saying nothing when it comes to Mitch McConnell.

Just today he calls it the Islamic Republic of Japan.

He refers to Zelensky as President Putin.

You know, so like...

Yeah.

And I think in large part, the exhaustion with pretending like what is so abnormal is normal is what gives rise to people like you and me who can speak clearly about the corruption that's going on without feeling like if we don't give enough, pay enough deference to Trump and Republicans, they might not come on our shows.

Reality is Republicans don't come on my show anyway.

So I can say whatever I want to say and be clear eyed about this stuff because I'm not trying to curry favor with anybody.

I think the farthest right person I ever got on my show was like Adam Kinzinger, which should give you an idea of the kind of of the kind of Republican, the level of Republican.
