I tell people, you know, a lot of people would be like, oh, string theory, you must be really smart.
They're not wrong.
But I do tell them, I learned to speak a language.
It's like you learned to speak another language.
I just got used to talking to that language.
I was not, you know, I had a good career.
I had some big results.
I did not consider myself at the top of the pack of string theorists.
Like there are people who were much, much, much smarter and better at it than I was.
but you just learn to speak a language.
it's not that hard to learn to speak that language if you put the time
