People are concerned that their jobs are basically going to be irrelevant because in AI, which is kind of, you know, if you ask, uh there's an interesting paper by Matt Schwartz, who's a a physicist at uh at Harvard, asked uh, I forget which model to, you know, help him write a paper in quantum field theory.
And he wrote this whole thing.

I think it's unanthropic, but I can't quite remember.
He asked it to show
A certain result, and he kind of walks through, and there were a lot of hallucinations, and the model messed up a lot of things and had to be carefully, carefully regulated.
just like a first year graduate student would, according to him.
So
His assessment is that these LLMs are at present functioning like a first-year graduate student.
Oh boy.
And that's clearly just the beginning.
So I think if you're not if you're a mathematician or physicist, mm many other types of scientists as well, uh, but math and theoretical physics are particularly susceptible to this because of the, you know, math.

However, the thing that I'm really saying here is that if someone can do it cheaper with just a computer by themselves, I think those jobs yes, I think the job will change.
But the number of jobs may be threatened as well completely when people find someone that can or something better, right?
