One of the guys came out and he said, here's what you don't understand about venture capital.
They don't want a profitable company.
They want a billion dollar exit.
They don't care if we burn money.
They'll throw another five or six million at it and won't even blink.
If you can't build them a billion dollar exit, a profitable company means nothing to them.
So you're wasting your time.
And by the way, you're no longer head of operations.
We're going to move you down to a consulting contract for a year.
We don't need you to do anything.
And I essentially got fired.
Yeah.
The third company was the internet.
That's when I told you they took over accounting and we weren't paying enough attention.
