Now, Jeannie Buss's standing is a little bit different as she is the governor, but she, as the governor, you serve at the you know the pleasure of the controlling owner.

And so the Lakers controlling ownership is going to change hands, whether the bus family can get their act together or not.

And whether Jeannie has the title of governor or not, the controlling owner, which is going to be Josh Kushner, assuming that he um completes it, and I think Bob Iger is going to be the managing partner, they're going to have control over the Lakers because they don't need the 17%.

The bus family drama is amazing.

Um, there has been two television shows in the last five years.

About the bus family, one directly, the HBO show, the second one, running point, the Netflix show, which Jeannie made, was really about her.

It wasn't

It was based on her life.

And neither of those shows will be anywhere near as good as the true story of what's happening within that family drama.

It is incredible, uh, Palace Intrigue, but they no longer have control over the Lakers.

And so it will remain Palace Intrigue and won't affect the decisions with the basketball team.

I make the genie bus sold low so that she could get a sweetheart deal for herself because I think ten billion was low.

Um and I'll tell you this, I can't predict the future.

I wouldn't sit here and try to guess the socio, the macroeconomic uh future of the country.

But my guess is that the twelve billion dollar purchase will not end up being a bad one.

And here's something else.

Bob Iger and Josh Kushner were trying to buy the team in Vegas.

And the thought process was that that was gonna cost

Maybe eight or nine billion dollars.

Okay.
