And you cannot go walk into the public eye and act all confident and high and mighty and act like you love yourself and it's really just a facade.
If you go home and you just tear yourself apart and you're so hard on yourself and you give yourself zero grace...
That is not true confidence.
Confidence is so easily fakeable.
If you are just faking confidence, it's not going to last.
And I think that's such a great question.
How do I create confidence that actually persists?
It's by actually loving yourself even when no one's looking.
If you're loving yourself just for show, don't even bother because it's not real.
And people will eventually pick up on that.
And so my challenge for you is to learn how to cultivate a loving relationship and friendship between you and yourself.
And that is how you will create long-lasting confidence that actually persists through any insecurities, through any jealousy,
through any comparison, you have to know who you are and you have to love the person who is beneath all of it.
And not just that, don't be confident only in how you treat yourself and how you present yourself, but be confident in how you treat others.
That is the most confident person in a room.
The person who is not just confident in who they are, but in the kind of person they are and how they treat or interact or speak to others.
Don't just be confident and considerate of yourself,
Be considerate of everyone else in the room.
Be confident in the way that you love others, in the way that you view others, in the way you show up for others.
And that is just the most long-lasting, strongest foundation you could build your confidence upon.
