It does feel overwhelming and it can feel like an overload.
What we're going to do is we are going to shrink even just the basic tasks because for me personally, when I'm at rock bottom, things like brushing my teeth and washing my face or drinking water or eating a meal
It feels so hard.
It feels like you were asking me to climb Mount Everest and then scuba dive down to the bottom.
I don't know.
And I know when you're sitting in rock bottom, you might be thinking of all the things that you have to do to get out of rock bottom.
Maybe it's applying for new jobs, finding a new friend group, recreating your identity from the ground up.
Like, sure.
But what you really need to do is just get the ball rolling.
Think of the rule that an object in motion stays in motion.
When you are at rock bottom, you have stopped the motion, okay?
So what we need to start with is those baby steps to get us moving, to get the ball rolling.
And before you know it, you'll be good as new.
And in our minds, we have to climb Mount Everest.
But in reality, you just have to get up, take a shower, make your bed, maybe change your sheets, get on a fresh set of
clothes.
I know that might feel like the impossible for some of you.
I can't stress that enough.
I have been in the position where it feels like that is the hardest task you could possibly be asking of anyone.
So what we're going to do is we are going to create some anchors in our life so that when we are having even the worst day ever,
