Get outside.
Go on a walk.
Get ready for the day.
Wash your face.
Brush your teeth.
Get yourself ready before you enter the world of social media.
Focus on your own life and do something for you before you become so consumed with others' lives for the day.
You have to be able to say, okay, even if I'm going to have my phone, I will put myself first.
But what I found is when I do this first hour, I'm not even keeping track.
And the next thing I know, I'm doing two hours without my phone in the morning, three hours.
I don't even want to go on my phone because I'm getting so much done without it.
And I think it's such a great test to prove to yourself in even just that one first hour how much you can get done in a day.
And it is so rewarding and fulfilling and honestly healing.
That is what helped open my eyes to how much that I can get done in a day.
And that did help move me towards my full day, that one Sunday that I did without my phone.
And now I can confidently say, I want to be doing this every Sunday because that's how much I got done.
So I highly suggest trying it out.
I really want you guys to join me in for the challenge, even if it's just one day without your phone.
And you can even let people know ahead of time that you're doing it so that they're not freaking out and you're not freaking out being like, oh my gosh, everyone's probably wondering where I am.
