He's always been someone that has been ruthlessly focused on making sure that Labour wins.

But they wanted to believe that Labour, that we had the right plan for the country.
And I don't think we successfully convinced people that that was where we were.
I think in addition to that, there was some there's a number of areas where big mistakes were made.
I mean, take winter fuel allowance, for example, take the where we got to on welfare reform.
Those caused us unnecessary problems.
It was big and symbolic.
And I remember I did I do regular community events as a constituency MP, just kind of town hall style.
