Like, she was in that relationship.
She can talk about it if she wants.
But I was, like, locked in, desperate to hear what she had to say.
So shall we listen to what she had to say?
Yes, let's do that.
So there's a few things that I found really interesting about that.
Firstly, that she like straight up refers to the fans as parasocial, which look, is not necessarily unfair, but I do think it's a real buzzword at the moment.
And it's a really easy thing to like paint people with, right?
and particularly fandoms.
Now, I do think for her, it would have been quite an experience though, learning what a fan base of someone like that was like.
Because she's been famous for a long time.
She's also been around and known and has relationships and friendships with people that are really, really famous.
There is something very different about firstly like a pop star's fame compared to a film star's fame.
Because so much of their lives are told and they're always selling themselves through their music and through their interviews and everything, the fans are like a little more close to knowing and feeling like they know that person.
And then there's also just like the boy bandness of it all and that he does have this like huge global fandom.
So it probably was quite a different experience to her to understand that because she's gone from like thinking, I know what fame is to then seeing what fame was like for him and being like, oh, okay, like that actually is on a whole nother level.
And one, like, and this is such a trivial little thing and it's actually really funny and I've always loved this.
But, you know, the bit where she says, oh, like, they would pick on me for dancing at his show and being like, you shouldn't, you know, look at her dancing or whatever.
There is actually a clip of her doing, like, a backbend at his show.
And I'm sorry, like, that is actually just really funny.
