So I knew we had chemistry.

Um we both knew that we were really enjoying each other's time.

But we didn't really realize that it was much more than that, um, until we got eliminated and we didn't see each other.

We got eliminated and during semifinals.

So there was only like one week left of the season.

And you have to remember when you start dancing with the stars, as soon as you meet your partner.

There really no

days off.

Like you can take a day off in the week.

But most of us are pretty crazy and competitive and we're like, we got there's no time to learn a whole technique, to learn a new choreography, new dance, all the things.

There's just no time in the season.

And so Daniel and I went from being strangers to then seeing each other every single day.

And you build this, you know.

potentially wonderful friendship, wonderful relationship with who your partner is.

I think that's also why there are so many beautiful friendships that come out of the show as well.

Um and so then we got eliminated and then we didn't see each other and then I remember we were like texting.

And we were both like, oh, wow, this is it actually feels a bit strange that we're not seeing each other.

And then we realized that it was more than a friendship.

But even then still nothing happened um until a bit later and we started dating.
