And then he ends up just playing a strategy that if everyone's too careful or wants to be a little bit too careful already because the stakes are so high.

And then also in the back of their head have logical justification to doing so with, well, Sean's not the guy to try and shove anything at all light on.

then what's going to end up happening is he's just going to demolish everyone because either you tighten up your opening ranges, which already does good for him because now he gets more profitable open spots, and you now don't get to pick up as many free chips.

Or his three bets, you open the same range, and his three bets now, they make more on you, but if no one else is going to punt it and quote-unquote punt it, put too much in –

then all of a sudden his strategy just gets to crush everyone.

Yeah.

I mean, I know what you mean.

It is an interest.

That's why ICM is really complex because it's, you're right.

It's you, your opponent and the rest of the field.

But the thing was, was that I don't think Sean was ever like a big chip leader, at least when I was there.

So for him as a mid stack saying, I don't give a crap as a mid stack is pretty valuable because now the pressure that other people are supposed to put on you, they're not going to, because if you're not going to like,

respect the situation that like you have a reasonable stack but you're not chip leader but you like if you you know if you don't do too much you're going to get a bunch of ladders you know and but if he's playing it like he's the chip leader and that the chips don't mean anything to him like that is valuable because now the chip leaders can't exert pressure on you as much

And the one downside to being the mid stack is now he now gets to become the big stack if he's winning all these pots.

I get it.

If he was like the big chip leader, then it's a little bit like, yeah, I don't really mind if he's just going to demolish everyone.

I'm cool with that.

He'll knock a lot of people out.
