I mean, the young guys that have no earnings, I'm like, this guy could be really, really good.
Just, he might've like just played online.
Yeah, agreed.
And the way most people learn poker is that you semi-bluff.
You barrel with some equity because you either get a fold, which is great, or you make your hand now in a bloated pot and you get to value bet.
And that is a really great way to play poker typically.
But there are spots where specifically this one where you have a strong range preflop, you have a strong range on this board on the flop, and then you faded the check raise.
And you got a turn that's good for your range in the sense that it doesn't help the big blind.
So you get to add extra bluffs.
Like think about you never barrel the turn with ace-5, and now the river's a king.
Queen, 10, 7, 3, king.
What would you bluff with on the river if you don't have ace-5?
You wouldn't have it.
And therefore, if you don't have any bluffs on that river –
people then are trained to overfold, right?
Because they're like, well, what do I even beat now?
Like jack-nine got there, king-jack made a pair, ace-jack made the nuts, ace-king made top pair.
I'm literally just hoping for like nine-eight.
