Um, yeah, I kind of look at it, you know, I obviously there's, there's some decent arguments for both sides, but I kind of, in Montana, I look at it the way I look at how Montana decided to manage wild trout.
So 50 odd years ago, Montana made the decision that if there's an established wild trout population in a river or a stream.
We're not going to stock.
There's no reason to stock trout in those streams, right?
Like you have a self-sustaining wild population, leave it alone, let it do its thing.
Like we may stock like lakes for put and take fisheries, but for wild trout populations that are self-sustaining, leave them alone.
That's kind of where I'm at with this pheasant thing.

Um, but isn't it also fair to say that if you've got good habitat, like you're already good habitat already in some ways mitigates the impact of predators on wild peasant populations, right?
