I remember in college, my friends pulled up to my sorority house and the frat house across the street had a deer hanging in the front yard because where else were they going to skin it?
Seriously, don't leave it on the side of the road.
Bring it home.
The owner cleared it all up by claiming it was never meant to be served to diners.
No, it's probably just for his family.
He probably just has a big enough fridge at the restaurant that he can chop it up.
That's what he said when police raided their restaurant.
He told them, officers, nothing to see here.
This is used for my own personal soup.
I literally don't see anything wrong with this.
Is that bad?
I mean, I think you do have to check with the Fish and Wildlife before you do that.
It is illegal to do this without the express approval of the Department of Wildlife in Louisiana.
Yeah, but come on, that approval had to be so easy to get in Louisiana.
Cops were unable to determine if the meat was intended for personal consumption or for restaurant patrons.
Therefore, they stayed open.
And the owner did post a sign on the window, deeply apologizing, saying it will never happen again.
