Especially having become more successful, it became a very emotionally abusive relationship where it was like, I need money or this.

And it was just really constant taking from me and with nothing in return.

And I just felt really taken advantage of.

And I just finally had to be like,

I bought a house, so I'm like, I can't financially support everybody anymore.

I can't.

You think it only happens in movies.

It was like, it was the strangest thing.

Like, you know, you get money and like, it's why people tell you if you win the lottery, like you shouldn't tell anybody.

You never expect it's going to happen to you, but you know.

I did.

Yeah.

I have a much better relationship with him.

I mean, we have had our own issues, but he wasn't nearly as involved in my life as my mom was.

So I feel less

hurt by him.

And he also like, it wasn't until I was like an adult.

I have more of like a friendship with my dad than I do like a daughter, son or daughter, father, father relationship.

Yeah.

But it's healthier.
