Can you talk a little bit about the move to Iceland and what role that has played during this journey for you?
I I think that's such a good point and it's one of the things that I talk with people often about is that
We
think withdrawal feels so much like illness.
You feel sick and the instinct when you're sick is to not do anything and stay under the covers and just wait until it goes away.
And I have seen over and over again, and I know this was true for myself, that even though that is the instinct, it's typically more productive and helps withdrawal move forward if you treat it more like an injury that needs to be rehabbed, which means we have to work the parts of our body that are
that are suffering, which in for many of us is is the brain.
And so I think that for people, anything they can do to try and train the mind at whatever level you're at, like if that's doing crossword puzzles or word jumbles because you can't leave the house, do it.
Um, I I tell people all the time, go learn something hard for the sake of learning it.
Like go go learn Latin.
