Well, absolutely.
Absolutely.
feel that somebody should have jumped in.
And I tell you, if somebody does jump in, no matter what happens, the players not only appreciate it, everybody on the bench, but, I mean, they almost embrace you even more, especially if you're a young guy.
They will take you in and they will love that stuff.
But I think the three guys you just mentioned, I don't know if they've ever been in a dust-up.
or, I mean, at least Cowan and Nylander before.
So, I mean, I think they were like deer in a headlight.
They didn't know what to do at that stage.
But I think they would have learned a lesson by watching, I mean, the Matthews hit.
So, I mean, I would have liked to see Cowan jump in a little bit, even if you jump on that big guy's back and say, ride him, cowboy.
Like, I mean, anything would have made it look a little bit better than it did.
Well, I'd certainly like to see the effort that they put in last night.
I mean, I thought that was a really good effort, especially the effort that Nyes did when he scored the shorthanded goal.
If you can get that effort for every game, even if you're not in it, it gives you some positivity going into the summer, I think.

Is this the kind of guy we really want, that when the chips are down, that they don't give their best effort?
That's not what you want to see, I don't think.
Well, I would think, thinking about it, I think they need at least six new faces in there.
And the right kind of faces.
