So you know, let's start there. matched

But I I think the you you you and I've had this conversation a couple of times uh over the years and I think so there's two reasons that the Oilers have historically, or at least in the last three years, maybe not deployed them as much. matched

One is obviously their minutes at five on matched

five and on the power player quite high. matched

And some of that is, you know, game state and some of that is just lack of depth uh on the bottom six. matched

Uh hopefully that's been matched

Modestly addressed, I I would argue it has been. matched

And that allows you to roll four lines a little more frequently, which would allow those guys to have a little less five on five minutes, which gives them the opportunity to participate on the penalty kill if they so choose. matched

And the other reason you wouldn't want them on there is injury, but really the game matched

The and I mean the NHL game has changed where a lot of the injury risk that comes from the one timer comes from the wings far more than it comes from the top uh of the power play than it used to. matched

And so you you don't see a lot of sh shot blocking going on at the top, uh, which, you know, there's your risk of taking one in the hand or the ankle. matched

Uh, you know, so you know, some of that has been moderated. matched

And then the other thing, I'm assuming that PJ Smith will run the similar PK as he did in LA, and that's a diamond. matched
