um has to be ranked highly.

Uh and Hudson for me is a guy who I think while the point totals were, you know, something that should stand out to people

part of his game that I think and I think this is with his brothers and I think his dad obviously is a heavy influence here.

But he's an incredibly smart player, um, and that's both on the puck and off the puck, and so

I look at the you know, I look at him and I'm like, I I don't quite understand why s I s I see some feedback about him being less

less of a valuable prospect because I think this is a player who's never gonna hurt you.

uh in the defensive zone.

He's got great hands and he he can win battles on the wall.

and he can get the puck out and obviously he can when he get to the other side of center ice he can have a real good impact.

And the the only issues you have with him is he's a little on the smaller side and his skating isn't dynamic and so um he can get a little bit bigger and you hope he gets a little bit bigger and you know the skating

Uh a little bit of burst.

It looked like he there was a little bit of burst there, uh, created over the year, so you hope to see a little bit more of that.

But I thought he stood up really well in the recall to uh to Edmonton in the season and I I I just think this is a guy that can play up and down the lineup a little bit and again he's he's not gonna be in your top six, but you know, can he play in your bottom six and help

you out and then score a little bit, I think you can.

So I I my my view on a prospect is anybody who's played a season of NHL hockey or less.

So eighty eighty eighty two games.

He played eighty three so m people can yell at me all they want, cancel their subscription if they want.

Um but I thought it was an opportunity and he's under twenty five.

And so I thought that was an opportunity to grade him out as a prospect and really show people kind of what I think of where he fits.

Because I think the trade with Darnell Nurse being involved has given a lot of people um
