I don't know how he formulated it.

Uh I would say I find that very hard to believe that he is not within that group of uh players, top players under twenty-three, and you know, I think maybe uh just on the list.

part some of this is going to be the product of the Connor McDavid um influence that players are maybe not as good as they uh really you know show on statistically because they're playing with Connor McDavid and I that can be fair.

I I take a different tact on that.

And Bob and I have talked about this a lot.

It takes a very special player to play with Connor McDavid 'cause he plays fast.

He thinks

the game fast and when you find a player like Leandre Sidel, or uh as uh you noted, the la the last half of the season, uh Matt Savoy, um that that should be celebrated.

That's a player that's pretty special.

And uh, you know, overall, like I think Matt Savoy's gonna play a long time in this league, um, mostly because he plays the game right, which is he plays it very well off of the puck.

He's a very

very good defensive players and which is of course why you see him on the pen would kill.

And uh I think this year you're gonna see him score more.

And uh that's really just a function of, you know, having a year's experience and most likely probably playing on a you know, uh consistently on either the first or second line.

So and I wrote about this we this week in my prospect review with him.

I don't think it impacts him from a physical standpoint.

Like he's gonna go back to Sweden, which is

you know, probably the fourth best league in the world, uh, behind the AHL and the KHL.

And so, you know, he's gonna play against uh, you know, veteran NHLers who've gone back home.

He's gonna play against young guys who are gonna be in the NHL and
