He's number four for me.
And, you know, I still like him as a, you know, the inner.
So I take when I look at players, I look at hockey IQ before I look at anything else.
Hockey sense.
And he's got lots of it.
Lots and lots and lots of it.
And I think he's a guy that could play fourth line right wing, and I think he could maybe play some third line right wing.
And when people sort of question me on could he play fourth line right wing, I say that because, you know, he's a guy who is going to understand his role effectively
down there, you know, and understand what he's supposed to do, which is basically, you know, you're going to take minutes there and you're trying to leave the ice at even strength or, you know, even, right?
And, you know, he's good enough on the walls.
He's, again, not a bigger guy, but he understands how to win battles.
More than anything, he's available to his defensemen for a pass, and he makes a really good outlet pass himself.
So...
You know, I still like him there.
You know, skating is obviously the thing that's going to hold him back at that size.
You know, you need one of the two.
He kind of has some skating to him.
I thought it improved last year.
You know, time will tell if an offseason, you know, this summer helped him or helps him more on that, you know, on that side because that's going to be the key for him.
