Man, unless you talked yourself into Ty Simpson, one year as a starter, they didn't really have a run game.

Ty Simpson, Garrett Nussmeier, I think those guys, they're both coaches' kids, coaches who worked up at a high level, who I think will be on NFL rosters for a long time.

I just don't know if you would sit there and go, oh, we're going to put the chips in the table now to trade back into the first round to take him before somebody else might, when you know there's a big haul coming next year.

Because even if, like,

60% of those guys that we just mentioned either don't get in the draft or don't, like, look really good in 2026, the odds are that, like, four of them will.

Because we just mentioned, like, 12.

And, you know, unless there's a big injury with CJ Carr, unless there's an injury with Dante Moore or an injury with Arch, I don't think people are going to go, yeah, I don't feel as good about him as I do about Ty Simpson as one-year starter.

Well, it's a real thing now, right?

So now Ty Simpson, it sounds like he did turn down a considerable amount of money from Miami to put his name in the draft.

you know, being down at Miami like a week ago, watching practice, you know, they feel like he's like a cross between Carson Beck and Cam Ward and with the positives of both, which I think he's another guy in the discussion.
