Well, one, I think we have to recognize that we had 10 openings this year.
So I would say that the turnover in coaching general management football positions is pretty extraordinary in our industry.
And so we have to take that into account, one.
Two, I think we have to continue to evaluate everything we're doing and every aspect of the hiring process.
How do we professionalize it to the best ability?
I think some of the changes we made was giving more time for the interviews.
I think we exceeded, my understanding I believe in the data is that we exceeded the Rooney Rule in every case in the hirings this year, which I think is very much a positive.
But we're going to see that from year to year where you have different outcomes.
And that's something we've got to look at.
But we're going to see that from time to time.
And that's something we've got to just evaluate, see what we can learn, and then continue to focus on what can we do better across 32 clubs.
You know, I would have loved to get drafted to New York and, and, you know, have that be my home for 20 years.
Um, but it just didn't work out that way.
And, you know, same thing in Carolina.
And then, you know, in San Francisco, um, that was a great place for me to learn.
And, and in Minnesota, I feel like I had a great opportunity with really good players and really good coaches to, to show not people, but show myself, uh, what I could do out on a football field.
And I think people saw that.
And, um, again, like Seattle, uh,
you know just just from the get you know right when I got here it felt like home and it feels like home and you know I'm just so thankful for John and Mike believing in me and you know all the players in that locker room for believing in me and and for me to just be able to go out there and do nothing more than my job on every single play and I think that's a that's a very very secure feeling as a quarterback.
Could you imagine Lovey Smith doing the whole good, better, best thing and saying bleep the Packers?
