When the Cubs were going into the second rounds of playoffs, they had closers, right?
So they had the major dude, as you guys call him, in Chapman, who is still a major dude toiling for Boston.
That was the big move.
They don't win the World Series without him, even –
the funky way that it was done.
100%.
He was the only one they trusted in that series.
When they went to the NLCS, they had Wade Davis, who was really good.
Great.
He was terrific.
He was an all-star.
Yeah, and he was worn out at the end, as they all are.
But the point is...
You have to have the guys back to the bullpen.
And if you want a serious run, and if you want to switch the topic to the White Sox, you know, do they have enough in the bullpen?
Certainly the bullpen, I believe, has been the strength of the team for a long time now.
Do you add to that, and do you have a deep run into the playoffs?
Hudson and Newcomb are the most underrated, untalked-about guys on the team, right?
But they come in, they do the job every single time they've been getting it done.
So do you add to that strength rather than trade young inventory for a starting pitcher in this mix?
