And, uh, the first Commonwealth Games I went to do it and worked on was 40 years ago in Scotland.
It was in Scotland, it was in Scotland, uh, in Edinburgh.
And there was a massive boycott, an African boycott of those games.
They were still very, very enjoyable.
I was working as a reporter for Channel 10, so a very different role.
But, you know, getting my hands dirty every day.
So, yeah, I love the Commonwealth Games.
I mean, the Olympics are...
the pinnacle, always will be.
They've got a few problems at the moment, I think, with the athletes.
But that's another story.
But now I am looking forward to it.
The Commonwealth Games and Seven are throwing a lot into it.
There's so many.
I mean, Kieran McCann running into the stadium in Melbourne.
It's hard to just... You had to be there, didn't you?
I mean, it was just amazing.
And, you know, her story, of course.
But Ollie Hoare, you know, running down two world champions from the top of the straight at Birmingham to win a 1,500-metre gold medal that only Herb Elliott had been able to achieve.
