Just Bryce Amner is fine.
My official title is the Reverend Bryce Amner, but that's only ever used in writing.
And even then, not really.
It was the first time I'd been to a protest.
And we went down to the grandstand side of the ground where a row of cattle trucks had been parked by farmers or cattle trailers.
So me and several hundred other protesters tried to push them out of the way or let the tyres down and stuff like that.
But that was later on after we'd been there probably about an hour.
Well, that was the idea of the vandalism, but yes.
Yes, that was probably my first major law-breaking as an 18-year-old.
I don't know that I even realised Lindsay had gone to the game at the time.

Maybe I'm getting like Dad a bit vague.
I'd been reading the newspapers and so I'd been reading about the build-up to the tour and what people had been saying for and against it.
And along with other students at Tech, we thought the tour shouldn't have gone ahead, that the apartheid regime was really abhorrent and that we shouldn't be supporting it by enabling a rugby tour.
It was also that quite a few other people I knew were going, so from tech, no one from church.
Both of us were involved in church and I was in the youth group.
Mum's assessment is probably there's an element of truth in it, so that I was going because it was a little bit disruptive and I was finding my way as a teenager.
