The most recent, not the most recent second, most recent number five overall pick. There's so many, it gets confusing, right? When you pick number five, three years in a row, you kind of get lost.

It's ridiculous. Still hasn't played because of the blood clots from last year. And Jalen Duren hasn't been the same factor and force that we saw last year. And definitely at least at the very least, Jalen Duren hasn't taken any strides forward.

So I think where I differ from a lot of fans is they need like a third point guard who's comfortable not playing on nights whenever J.I. is under control and can handle the second unit, but then can come in and calm things down whenever he doesn't. Or the big worry, guys, is, I mean, Cade and J.I. aren't going to play 82 games this year. So what happens?

Who plays the backup point guard whenever... Those guys aren't both available. So I think that's where a lot of the veteran point guard conversation comes from.

Yeah, Monte Morris, the guy they signed last year who only played seven games. And then they traded. Monte was hurt. But just a guy that can steal space. Tyus Jones would have been the perfect name, right? But that's way over their ability. People bring up Markel Fultz and Dennis Smith Jr. I just don't think those guys are the right type of guys.

Because if you do bring them in and want to play in minutes, they need to be able to really space the floor. And neither of those guys do that alone. you know, with the things they do do well. And I'm also like, do Fultz and Dennis Smith Jr. want to sign up for a Pistons team when they know they're going to play third fiddle, you know, being a creator behind Cade and J.I. So, yeah.

You said it, not me. Who's not in the NBA. Killian Hayes, who's not in the NBA. Killian Hayes is not currently in the NBA. And listen, I like Killian, but it was crazy. It was so strange. I didn't try to punt him to the moon like Tim Baumtamps, but I just want to emphasize he's not in the NBA right now.
